I was just watching Menace II Society for like the 1000th time and it never gets old. This one of my top 5 movies of all-time. Its depiction of life in the hood resembles Boyz n the Hood but on a far more violent level. I love all of the charcters but my favorite is O-Dog. He is the epitome of "gangsta" in my eyes. My favorite scene is when Caine and O-Dog are in the liquor store and the Asian guy says "I feel sorry for your mother", then O-Dog asks "What’d you say about my momma" and proceeds to shoot him and his wife. The only part I did not like was the last scene when Sharif was killed in a drive-by. It always seems that the young black men who are particpating in positive activities are the ones who end up dying over nothing.

2pacalypse Now

2pacalypse Now is an absolute classic. I can listen to every track on the CD without even pressing skip. This is 2pac at his finest. I love it because it focuses on a lot of issues relevant to the Black Community. Not too many rappers try to incorporate the problems facing society in there music, so I respect and commemorate 2pac. I recommend that every young Black male in the America listen to, and identify the injustices which Black people have encountered throughout the nation's history. My two favorite tracks on the album are "Young Black Male" and "Words of Wisdom".
