Yesterday's devastating earthquake in Haiti has made realize how fortunate we as Americans are. These people were already living under subpar conditions prior to the catastrophe, now they don't have anything. I just read a report that even the president of the country is homeless. This is a truly sad event. I don't give to charities often but I will try my hardest to donate an adequate amount to relief efforts. These past two days have been eye-opening for me. I am so blessed.
